Each backflow-prevention assembly required by this section shall be tested at least annually, and more frequently if directed by the water supplier or the Department.  Each assembly shall also be tested after installation, relocation or repair.

Internal Alarm Check Valve Inspection - HB2519

All check valves shall be inspected internally on an annual basis as part of the fire protection system inspection.  In addition, HB2519 requires that any malfunction or abnormality identified with the check valve shall be reported within 24 hours to the local authority and drinking water supplier.
